Direct Federal Credit Union has announced the winners of their 2021 Diversity Champion Scholarship.

The scholarship recognizes high school seniors who have led or supported an effort in making their school and/or community inclusive. Partner schools and organizations included Dedham High School, Everett High School, Framingham High School, Franklin High School, and the Waltham Boys and Girls Club. Applicants were asked to complete an essay on what they have done to make their community more inclusive.

The 2021 Diversity Champion Scholarship winners are Ella Hartshorn (Dedham High), Ann Laurie Pierre (Everett High), Priyal Kaur Anand (Framingham High), Ndoumbe Ndoye (Franklin High), Jeffrey Serrano Sanchez (Waltham Boys and Girls Club), and Kendrick Agyapong (Waltham Boys and Girls Club). Each student received a $1,000 scholarship to be used towards their education this Fall.
